This is an extremely exciting time to join 89.1 KHOL.

Having just recently gone on air, we are currently in the process of establishing ourselves in the community. We are broadcasting at a limited strength of 100 watts from the rooftop of the station and are able to reach most of downtown Jackson, but not the greater Valley or into the reinforced walls of many local homes and offices. We are working to increase our signal strength, but we need your help.

We are also in the process of completing our new home at 155 W. Gill. From adding to our library to equipping our studios, there is a lot of work to be done. Thankfully, we have the help of a three to one matching grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce Public Telecommunications Facilities Program (PTFP). This PTFP grant allows us to leverage 300% of every dollar we raise to purchase state-of-the-art equipment for KHOL. And while the PTFP grant will provide us with up to $273,000, we need your help to raise the $91,000 needed to release it.
