HAPPY BIRTHDAY KHOL!

Today is KHOL’s 1st Birthday!

Exactly one year ago, a small group of volunteers flipped the switch and Jackson Hole Community Radio became 89.1 fm KHOL - Jackson’s first and only non-profit, community radio station.

Since then, that small group has grown to over 400 people - people who have hosted shows, thrown fundraisers, and donated money. It has only been with their help - with YOUR help! - that we’ve been able to turn this dream into a reality.

THANK YOU!

Thank you for working tirelessly to get KHOL off the ground, for putting in countless hours to produce insanely awesome programming, and for always tuning in to 89.1 fm.

If it weren’t for you, there wouldn’t be a KHOL.

2 Down 1 to Go - Lots of Love for KHOL This Week

St. Patty’s Day Success!

Fitzgerald’s Bicycles held it’s 7th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Sale. With spring in the air locals took full advantage of the hourly discounts drumming up sales and supporting KHOL in the process. The shop donated 10% of the day’s proceeds to the station.

After the sale, we took the Wheel of Fortune to the Snake River Brewery for their annual St. Patty’s Day fest where the crowd spun the wheel and took a chance to support community radio in Jackson Hole and win lots of great prizes.

Thanks to all our listeners & supporters who paid to spin the wheel and to all of the companies that contributed prizes:

Overall we raised nearly $1500 for KHOL!

We here at KHOL would like to thank everyone at Fitzgerald’s Bicycles that worked so hard      (in March!), especially Scott and Tim. Tim held the Wheel of Fortune high for nearly 4 straight hours! (all those years wrenching have built a solid set of guns on him)

And thanks to the Brew Pub (Snake River Brewing) for letting us join their annual party.

———————————————————————————————-

Low Def Film Fest draws big crowd!

We would also like to thank everyone that came out to support the Low Def Film Fest Sunday night at the Mangy Moose and thanks all the businesses, bands and volunteers that pulled it off:

We raised over $1400 for KHOL!

THANK YOU!
