Iowa Boy

Jon’s Show “The Odyssey, with the Iowa Boy” is a musical adventure each show spanning a wide variety of genres.  You never know what you are going to hear Wednesday’s from 7-9pm.  On-air guests, interviews, live music in the studio, self therapeutic monologues and CDs and vinyl from Jon’s collection may be featured on any given show.

Jon was born in Des Moines, Iowa and got his first gig as a programmer at KURE 88.5 FM on the Iowa State University Campus.  He then spent several years surviving Washington, DC and the Radioless open spaces of Death Valley, CA before moving to Jackson Hole (with a job) in 2003.  Jon’s day job is being the Park Landscape Architect for Grand teton National Park but he also volunteers as a Big Brother and with Habitat for Humanity.   Jon loves to do improv comedy and can be found hanging around upstairs at the Teton Barbershop before his show.
