			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong><em>Over the last 3 months various media outlets have been putting out their favorite records of the decade.  At first I thought this was kind of ridiculous, and I still kind of do, but I decided to attempt it anyway, if only for the exercise of looking through an entire library of music and thinking about the things that have meant the most to me over the last 10 years (the last 6 of which have kind of been an musical awakening of sorts, away from 30 minute electronic jams and towards what can be achieved in a 4 minute song).  I still think its kind of silly.  Some of these albums have had half a decade to be digested &#8211; which is why the majority of these albums were released a minimum of 4 years ago.  It’s hard to know how I&#8217;ll feel about Phoenix&#8217;s Wolfgang Amadeus in 5 years.  But for the time being, I used a kind of desert island approach to the list, as in these are the albums I would take to a desert island.  I know there are some that I missed, and some that I added in haste or nostalgia for a certain memory they invoke, but my list, warts and all, is as follows.  My top 25 records of 2000-2009, in alphabetical order:</em></strong></p>

You do not have to be present to win, but you must be entered to win, so keep listening for your next chance.</p>
