1st Anniversay and Blues you can use

I can’t believe I have been on the air at KHOL for a year. Time does fly as you circle the sun multiple times. I first need to thank Brad Desmond and Walker White for O.King the show and allowing me to do it “my way”. I also want to thank all of the other hard working volunteers, whether it be the other great DJ’s or all of the multitudes of behind the scenes volunteers that keep us on the air. Finally, I want to thank the members and donors and local businesses that have ponied up to make KHOL an on air force in Jackson Hole. You guys rock!!
One comment I get alot is “I want to expand my Blues collection, but where do I begin?? My 1st anniversary show was about that same topic, so here is my set list of releases you should consider when buying Blues. It is by no means definitive, just my not so humble opinion.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KHOL!

Today is KHOL’s 1st Birthday!

Exactly one year ago, a small group of volunteers flipped the switch and Jackson Hole Community Radio became 89.1 fm KHOL - Jackson’s first and only non-profit, community radio station.

Since then, that small group has grown to over 400 people - people who have hosted shows, thrown fundraisers, and donated money. It has only been with their help - with YOUR help! - that we’ve been able to turn this dream into a reality.

THANK YOU!

Thank you for working tirelessly to get KHOL off the ground, for putting in countless hours to produce insanely awesome programming, and for always tuning in to 89.1 fm.

If it weren’t for you, there wouldn’t be a KHOL.
